Description
  • SPRAYZUCAR 90 is a high alloy spray type electrode developed after long research for the crushing rollers of sugar mills
  • Maintans maintain a self regulating arc for the bonding of the hard metal globules to the cast iron rolls
  • Deposits globular protrusions of high alloy complex martensitic chromium carbide on the teeth of mill rollers
  • Increases frictional properties that eliminates the need for chevrons resulting in 12% more surface area and more contact with the bagasse
  • Provides more presure and less humidity that leads to greater extraction

NOTE:

The information contained or otherwise referenced herein is presented only as “typical” without guarantee or warranty, and Industrial Welding Corporation expressly disclaims any liability incurred from any reliance thereon. Typical data and test results for mechanical properties, deposit, or electrode composition and other properties were obtained from a weld produced and tested according to prescribed standards and should not be assumed to be the expected results in a particular application or weldment. Actual results will vary depending on many factors, including, but not limited to, weld procedure, plate chemistry and temperature, weldment design, and fabrication methods. Users are cautioned to confirm by qualification testing, or other appropriate means, the suitability of any welding consumable and procedure before use in the intended application.

  • Sugar cane and mill crushers in the sugar industry
  • Hold electrode vertically in conjunction to the workpiece
  • Keep stable arc on moving roll for full spraying effect
  • For 2 o'clock position welds, hold at 45-50º angle from the horizontal position
  • Perform 12 o'clock position welds for desired high spatter levels at high current
  • Can be used in wet condition (during crushing) and dry condition (on lathe of 3 to 5 RPM) on stationary position
