Description
  • N-Ni Mo-3 is a nickel-molybdenum electrode designed specifically for welding Hastelloy® W to itself or to a variety of other alloys used in high temperature service applications.
  • Excellent for joining dissimilar combinations of cobalt, nickel and iron-base alloys
  • Provides good mechanical properties up to 980ºC
  • Should not be use for service applciations in excess of 750 hours

  • Commonly used for jet engine repair and maintenance, gas turbine parts, and rotor hubs
  • Weldability is the same as austenitic stainless steel
  • Keep the interlayer temperature under 100ºC and cool it as fast as possible
  • Keep the welding current as low as possible
  • Dry the electrodes at 150-200ºC for 30-60 minutes before use
